Process
AI SRE evaluates:
- Severity — User impact, business impact, technical impact
- Priority — Urgency based on severity, escalation, and SLA risk
- Impact — Technical, business, and user impact
- Response type — Immediate mitigation, investigation, or monitoring
Example
Incident: Checkout service returning 503 errors
Triage:
- Severity: Critical (revenue-blocking)
- Priority: P0 (immediate)
- Impact: 100% checkout failure, payment service blocked
- Response: Immediate mitigation required
Alert correlation
AI SRE can:
- Group related alerts from the same root cause
