Process

AI SRE evaluates:
  1. Severity — User impact, business impact, technical impact
  2. Priority — Urgency based on severity, escalation, and SLA risk
  3. Impact — Technical, business, and user impact
  4. Response type — Immediate mitigation, investigation, or monitoring

Example

Incident: Checkout service returning 503 errors Triage:
  • Severity: Critical (revenue-blocking)
  • Priority: P0 (immediate)
  • Impact: 100% checkout failure, payment service blocked
  • Response: Immediate mitigation required

Alert correlation

AI SRE can:
  • Group related alerts from the same root cause
  • Correlate customer reports with system alerts
  • Prioritize alerts by severity
  • Provide context across multiple alerts
